Shanmugam Zircons
Shanmukam Zircons was established in the year 1993 by Mr. SPDS
Kumares at Vadalur. This industry was born out of pure passion and
commitment in clear research about Zirconium Silicate, which is a prime
ingredient in ceramics, brake lining industries and refractories.
Shanmukam Zircons is a monopoly in the region, and the zircons are
processed as well as milled in our campus into a more stringent grading
and required particle size, making it ideal for automotive brake linings
and pads.
SK Mines
SK Mines was established in the early 2000s, and their primary business
is trading by-products of NLC to various companies across the state. The
majority of the products being transported are ball clay, pond ash, and
silica sand. We’ve built a wide clientele with our promise of quality
products at a reasonable price.
Duraisamy Chettiyar Company
This transport business is in existence since the 1980s, where we assure
punctual delivery making it our strong suit. Our steady clientele has
been maintained for over two decades. Our core business is
transporting auctioned goods of NLC to various parts of the country,
making our Unique Selling Point (USP) nominal price with quality
delivery.
Oceana Shrimpees
Oceana Shrimpees was formed in the early 2000s and is located in
Parangipettai, where a variety of prawns, especially tiger prawns are
grown. We use modern technology paired with machinery to reap a
successful prawn harvest. The harvested prawns are cleaned,
processed, and packed to be exported to other countries.
SPDS Sil Unit
SPDS SIL Unit was started in the year 2016 and located in
Azhagappasamudram Village (15 kms from Neyveli), in association with
Saint Gobain India, Sriperumbudur. The work done here involves
collecting the silica sands washed up from NLC India Ltd, washing,
treating and sieved it to be transported to the main plant in
Sriperumbudur. The plant has created numerous employment
opportunities for the villagers and improved their basic facilities,
making a positive impact on the community.
SPDS Jayanthi Vidyapeedam
SPDS Jayanthi Vidyapeedam was started in the year 2019 and is located
in Kadampuliyur, the native land of Smt. Jayanthi Kumares. It was a
cherished vision of Mrs. Jayanthi Kumares, who envisioned quality
education for all. The school is known best for its world-class education
and top-notch infrastructure at an affordable fee. It has experienced
tremendous growth and emphasizes holistic student development,
focusing on nurturing the excellence and uniqueness of each child.
SPD Shanmugam Chettiyar Educational Society
SPD Shanmukam Chettiyar Educational Society was born with the
intension to provide great education to individuals in and around NLC.
Since its establishment, thousands of employees and students have
benefited from it. It runs the distance education center of Azhagappa
university, Karaikudi, providing extensive UG and PG courses.
SPDS Radiance Skin Hair & Bone Clinic
Radiance Skin, Hair and Bone Clinic was established in the year 2021
with the vision of providing aesthetic and transformative cosmetology
services. Today, they stand as a pioneer institute in the locality for
Lasers, PRP, GFC, Dermato-Surgery and all cosmetology services.
Radiance holds a dedicated venerology and leprology unit and operates
at its full potential. The orthopedic section handles all fractures, spine
